The Great Crossing of the Ports de Tortosa - Beseit - Morella…. Infinite mountain ... infinity of corners, infinity of ravines, infinity of landscapes, infinity of secrets ... A territory where the man-mountain relationship has been ancestral, tortuous, respectful, historical. A long journey of 8 days (possibility of dividing it into 4 + 4) that leads us to discover three regions (Terra Alta, Matarranya, Ports de Morella) and 3 territories: Catalonia, Aragón and País Valencià.
This extensive mountain range is the junction of the Serralada Pre Litoral Catalana and the Iberian System. Despite its modest height (the highest point is Mont Caro at 1,441 m) the slopes and distances are considerable, as well as the terrain that is usually very lonely, wild and sparsely populated.
During the long journey we will visit and spend the night in picturesque and genuine towns such as Paüls, Beseit, Penyaroja de Tastavins, Arnes, Prat del Comte, Castell de Cabres, Vallibona and Morella itself, a walled city of great tourist attraction.
